Essential Oils Are Great For Clearing The Throat Chakra (Or Any Other Chakra)

Bottles of Spa essential oils for aromatherapy

The throat chakra as we know is our centre for communication and expressiveness.

Some of the oils you can use to open and energise this center are:

Sage
Lemongrass
Geranium
Blue Chamomile
Basil, Bergamot
Peppermint
Cypress
Frankincense

There’s several different ways to use these oils, like mixing them with coconut or olive oil, and then rubbing them onto the chakra itself.

Essential oils can be used for any of your chakras and is a quick and easy way to energise them. You can play and experiment around here and try different oil combinations for added effect.

Balancing The Heart Chakra Is Essential For Emotional Stability

The Heart Chakra is one of our most powerful chakras and when it becomes balanced we become unselfish and detach from our every day external possessions.

We also find ourselves feeling at peace, with greater patience and poise in life. All of the hallmarks of emotional stability come from a balanced heart chakra, so it’s important to give it the nourishment it needs.

Emotional stability helps us to love ourselves more so that we can release any self sabotaging behaviors which can hold us back. As we’ve mentioned before, high levels of self-love (which comes partially from emotional stability) gives you the freedom to live life on your terms. It gets you out of bad habits quickly and allows you to see the truth of your situation.

Everything Yellow Can Unblock Your Solar Plexus Chakra

Adding in everything yellow, like eating yellow foods, wearing yellow clothes and surrounding yourself with yellow will help heal and charge the solar plexus chakra.

Meditating on the yellow color can also have amazing affects!

Every chakra basically has a color associated with it, so if you want to energise or heal a particular chakra, just wear the associated color and reap the rewards!

It’s also a good idea to see what colors are in your life just now, to see whether you might be creating an imbalance or over-stimulation of a particular chakra. Having a balance of colors is great for creating overall balance in your chakra mix.

The Herb Centella Asiatica (Known as Gotu Kola) Opens The Crown Chakra

The crown chakra is associated with our ability to connect to the Divine and access deeper states of meditation. The power of the crown chakra helps spirituality to become an integral part of your life.

Known as Gotu Kola in health circles, this herb supports mental function, targeting the brain and the nerves, but it also opens up the crown chakra. It can help the hemispheres of the brain get more in sync so you have a more balanced way of thinking.

Each chakra has specific herbs which help in their stimulation.

A Foot Massage Is Great For Balancing The Root Chakra

Sometimes the knocks of life can throw us out of whack, so a quick foot massage can put things back into sync!

Nutmeg will activate a sluggish root chakra and an essential oil like bergamot will help it function better.

A foot massage though can actually affect all of your chakras through the power of reflexology. All of our major nerves have their endings in your feet, so pressing and massaging them can dissolve a lot of hidden blocks, helping to relax your chakras and reset your emotional complexion.
